Week 5 Reflection
The end of the week Mr. Jackson introduced Quadratic Radicands. I really enjoy these problems because I get it. I was not good at factoring but the Area Method helped me a lot when the "a" value is more then one. Doing Quadratic Radicands made me have to get better at factoring because you are adding more steps then just factoring. So you have to know how to do the main part of finding the domain. After you get your factor pairs, you set each equal to zero. Solve for your variable. (Most likely "x") Then depending if your "a" value is positive or negative you find the domain. If positive the domain would be all real numbers except between those two x-intercepts. If negative the domain the graph opens upside down. So it is the x-intercepts. I really like this concept cause I get it.
