Jake's Reflection: For this project, upon stating the idea of creating problems and creating story problems my mind almost instantly went to games, which as you can see lead to the usage of the horror game Five Nights at Freddy's 2.The problems that I took time and work to create were in my opinion well thought out and laced together; using idea from problems previous to solve another and understanding a bit of the mechanics behind it. Although I wished that we had expanded on more problems, I am satisfied with the final result of the project as well the equations and story problems. Throughout the Trimester these were to me not only the most pleasing type to solve, but the hardest ones as well. I hope you enjoy the small taste of game play from Five Nights- that clip was collected by myself and it took multiple attempts to get the proper animatronic to attack us. There are 10 in that game.
Ben's Reflection: The D.E.V. project was a large obstacle for me in Pre-Calc. I hope it turned out as well as I think it did... But truthfully, the D.E.V. project taught me valuable things like teamwork, time management, and thinking creatively. I found it very interesting to create problems by myself and in doing this it furthered my knowledge on the topics I was writing problems about as well. It was a difficult challenge but the D.E.V. project was a good one. Aside from the D.E.V. project however, the trimester went pretty well. I still have a hard time with sufficient time management needed for this class, but I am learning. Also, I did enjoy the things you taught us and I always enjoyed the little slideshow on your computer when taking test. I don't know why it was just a good quick distraction for a few seconds and I like that. The trimester went well and the D.E.V. project was a good (difficult) way to end the tri but we went out in a bang! Hope you enjoy the video!!!
