If and when I raise children, I'll never... 

I will never spoil my children. Yes, i will love them and want the best for them but I will not give them everything they want, for they then become brats. Spoiled rotten children these days will ruin themselves ultimately because they don't know how to do anything because their parents "protect" them too much. This generation of people need to remember what tough love is and why is actually good for children. The best thing parents can do for a child is let them fail. Failure is the best teacher for people because it is experience. After a person fails then people need to come up beside them a encourage them to try again. Yes children will say that "if you really love me, you will do..." that is not love that is manipulation. After the child grows up they don't know how to do anything and get upset with their parent. Children need to know how to work for something they want.
