Week 4 - moment of clarity

I was surprised to learn that we could combine two functions about a shape and solve for the maximum area. Using only one variable to find other informations about a shape was first confusing to me, but after the explanation that Mr. Jackson gave us, I soon understood why and how to combine two formulas.
